Tomorrow it is Opening Day — no foolin’! As is the case of all Opening Days from the past 17 years, Yadier Molina will be starting at catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. It is the longest of such a streak in MLB history. Per Jon Mororsi:
History: Yadier Molina makes his 17th consecutive Opening Day start at catcher for the @Cardinals, extending the longest streak ever for a catcher with one team in @MLB. Jack Flaherty said Molina and @UncleCharlie50 are inspirations to every player on the team. @MLBNetwork

In honor of his 17 years I put together a little collage of his photos through the years. After 17 years, a bit more muscle mass, and a lot of tattoos later, Yadi is still behind the plate.

Per MLB rules that will relax many of the protocols they've had to follow since last year after about two weeks.https://t.co/Q8sXBTM2Vb
