That was fun!

2011 World Series Game 3 - Texas Rangers v St Louis Cardinals Set Number: X86565 TK1 R4 F277

For those that might have forgotten: in 2011 the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series. It was a postseason run for the ages with a just-as-exciting finish. The Cardinals would go on to win the World Series in seven games against the Texas Rangers, but en route to that conclusion, the two teams faced off in Arlington for Game 3.

The game ended in a bit of a blowout, but was actually a close game until the sixth inning. Allen Craig started off the scoring with a homer in the first inning, then both teams were quieted until breaking out in the fourth. The Cardinals put up 4 runs in the top of the inning and Rangers answered with three runs of their own. Each team put up three more runs in the fifth to make the score 8-5 in favor of the Cardinals going into the sixth inning.

That is when Albert Pujols took over the game.

With two-on and one-out he hit a three-run shot to put the Cardinals up 11-5. He followed that up in the seventh inning with two-run shot to give the Cardinals a 14-6 lead. He capped the night off with a solo shot in the ninth inning to make the score 16-7, where it would finally stay.

But how about we just get to the video you have all been waiting for...
