There has been much speculation as to which players among the St. Louis Cardinals have tested positive for COVID-19. Today on his Instagram, Yadier Molina has given us some idea with the announcement that he is one of the 13 people within the Cardinals organization with COVID-19.

Good morning! I am saddened to have tested positive for COVID-19, even after following the prevention recommendations. I will do everything in my power to get back as soon as possible for Cardinals fans, the city of St. Louis and my teammates. As I recover, I ask that you respect my privacy during my absence from the team. Blessings!

The Cardinals have also announced five other players, with their permission, that have tested positive for COVID-19, a list that includes shortstop Paul DeJong:

Here’s to wishing Yadi and all the other players and personnel that have contracted the virus a swift and speedy recovery.
