Earlier it had been announced the Major League Baseball intended to hold a special game in Dyersville, Iowa near the Field of Dreams. In case you missed it we recently reviewed the film the field appeared for VEB Movie Club. There has been no formal announcement of which teams could be playing there, but with the COVID-19 pandemic it appears that is would likely teams from the Central divisions. That includes the St. Louis Cardinals. Per Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post Dispatch:
Sources: #Cardinals under consideration to play #WhiteSox at Field of Dreams in Iowa next month in one-game showcase event -- if #MLB, local policies align and health permitting. More info here on what could be a remarkable scene: https://t.co/A2kM47AaFV #stlcards @stltoday #MLB

There are still a few things to work out, but we could watch the Cardinals play at Field of Dreams. That would be neat.
