The St. Louis Cardinals first game of the 2020 was supposed to be Thursday, March 26. With the season postponed due the outbreak of coronavirus: COVID-19, this will obviously not be happening. That does not mean there will be no Cardinals baseball, though. In fact, since Monday, March 23 KMOX has been re-airing the last fifty games from the Cardinals historic 2011, starting with the team’s 8-4 win over the Pirates on August 25, 2011, when they sat 10.5 games from a playoff spot. The broadcasts will continue on as the 2011 Cardinals make their postseason run. Per KMOX,
Monday through Friday games will begin with a pregame show at 6:15 p.m., Saturday pregame shows will start at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday pregame shows start at noon.
For tonight’s game, first broadcast on August 27, 2011, the Cardinals take on the Pittsburgh Pirates for game three of the four-game set. featuring Chris Carpenter for the Birdos against Brad Lincoln for the Bucs.
You can listen to the games on KMOX 1120 or via the Radio.com app. And of course, stay safe out there:
