The Cardinals defeated the Rockies Thursday night thanks to three two-run home runs off the bats of Marcell Ozuna, Paul DeJong, and Dexter Fowler. Fowler, after hitting hard outs all game to that point, provided the go-ahead runs in the bottom of the seventh with his blast. It was extremely fun to watch, but what possibly made the moment even sweeter was Yadier Molina celebrated before Dex even knew he was going to swing.
It is one thing to call your own shot. To call someone else’s mid pitch? That is an entirely new level of cool.
Yep, this is the coolest thing you'll see tonight. Yadi knew Dex hit that out of the yard before he even swung the bat. #TimeToFly pic.twitter.com/mdiptBq46M
