We missed Jordan Hicks.

Because the Cardinals were absolutely dreadful in May, we were not treated to seeing much of closer Jordan Hicks. The flamethrower made eight appearances in May, with four of those coming in the last six days of the month. After his appearance on April 29, Hicks did not pitch again until May 6. He made three more appearances on May 10, 16, and 19 and then did not pitch again until May 25.

Now in June, Hicks has already made three appearances, his last one on June 10 where he was NASTY. He struck out two batters in his one inning of work. And threw this filthy seqences of pitches:

That is unhittable. And awesome.

I missed you, Jordan Hicks. May you never be gone for that long again!
