Yesterday the Cardinals announced that they had agreed to a contract extension with Matt Carpenter that could keep the long-time third baseman wearing the Birds on the Bat until 2022. stlcardinalsfan4 takes a look at it here, so we will not be doing that. We will be doing something else.

Matt Carpenter is going on his ninth season with the Cardinals. In the time, he has done some pretty spectacular things. Let’s appreciate them, shall we? There is a lot, but that is because Carp has made a lot of memories.
