Baseball has been the focus of a lot of proposals to make it more appealing to more people, particularly youths. It needs to speed up, it needs to be cooler, it needs to appeal to a broader audience are the common criticisms. These are not radical ideas and, in fact, are good goals. The problem is it is very apparent the group of people in charge of achieving these goals is not at all diverse or young in its scope.

USA Today features an article with an idea to change the MLB playoff format and I am curious about how everyone feels. I am not really a fan of any type of format that splits a season in half, but that is just me.
