The Cardinals have fallen behind in the NLDS against the Braves two games to one. In the best of five-game series, it is the first team to three wins that will advance. The Braves have a chance to be that team today. The Cardinals, on the other hand, will fight to play another game, to travel back down to Atlanta and force a deciding game 5. This is what the Postseason is all about. “What do we say to the god of playoff elimination? ‘Not today.’”
Today might be the final Cardinals game of the season. A division title and NLDS appearance is nothing to sneer at if the season ends today, but... not today, Cardinals. There is still so much more to do.
