The Cardinals are in the playoffs and it is wonderful - A Hunt and Peck

On Thursday afternoon the Cardinals defeated the Braves seven runs to six. The calendar has flipped to Friday — if you have one of those daily calendars, of course — and there is another game to play. As if on queue, the sticky hot air has cooled to an autumn chill. Summer is over. There is postseason baseball to be played.

And the Cardinals are once again part of it.
