The date was October 22, 2011. The place was Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas. It was somewhat cloudy, but otherwise fine October night in the South; there was no wind and the temperature was pleasant 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It was an excellent evening for game three of the World Series.
This contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers began innocuously enough, but after only one batter it became apparent the everyone was in for a wild ride, indeed. Allen Craig took the seventh pitch of the game from Matt Harrison and launched into the night sky. The first foreboding shot of what would be a barrage of offense that led to a Cardinals 16-7 victory.
There were four home runs hit by the St. Louis Cardinals that evening. One by Craig. The other three?
