On this day in 2013 the Cardinals were going to the World Series - A Hunt and Peck

On October 18, 2013 the St. Louis Cardinals squared off against the Los Angeles Dodgers for game 6 of the NLCS. Michael Wacha took the mound against Clayton Kershaw in a reprisal of their game 2 matchup the ended with the Cardinals 1-0 victory.

This game went a little differently:

The Cardinals 9-0 victory clenched the Championship Series and sent the team on to play the Boston Red Sox in the World Series.
