It is time we talk about the Cardinals mustaches - A Hunt and Peck

It is my sworn duty to report.

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Dodgers Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Cardinals are in the middle of a playoff race. Every game counts. Every game is important. The Cardinals playoff odds over the last few days illustrate that. Just look:

With the increased importance of every game, so too goes the importance of every article posted to the prestigious baseball blog. The stakes are high. Cardinals fans need their information. They need to know how the team is doing, if the Birdos can pull this off, who to blame if they do not.

They need to know about the mustaches.

If you have yet to notice, there is a new trend going around the Cardinals starting rotation, particularly Miles Mikolas and Daniel Poncedeleon.

Let the record show Luke Weaver and Austin Gomber have more of a goatee going at this point. Apparently this is not by accident.

So who is next to joined the mustachioed crew?

Want to know what other members of the Cardinals would look like with mustaches? I have some samples for you:
