These are the most important games of the season - A Hunt and Peck

I am writing this article a day early, as I will not be able to on Friday. I do not yet know the outcome of the Cardinals’ game against the Dodgers that is to be played on Thursday evening. What I do know is that outcome will be entirely important. As of now, here are the standings in the National League playoff race, per MLB.com:

Here are the Cardinals next sixteen games:

Four games against Los Angeles - Cardinals are two games ahead of
Three games against Atlanta - Cardinals are one game back of
Three games against San Francisco
Three games against Milwaukee - Cardinals are two and a half games back of
Three games against Chicago - Cardinals are four games back of

The Cardinals are in position to control a little bit of their own destiny. It is gonna be intense.
