Kauffman Stadium is lovely; the Cardinals swept the Royals - A Hunt and Peck

It was a beautiful sight.

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals at Kansas City Royals Peter G. Aiken

Let us start this analysis with a story.

I have been to Kauffman Stadium. It was back in 2014, I believe, on James Shields bobblehead day. I made the joke that maybe I could trade that bobblehead for a Wil Myers one. It did not land. I chose that game because the Royals were playing Albert Pujols and David Freese of the Angels and Yordano Ventura was slated to make the start. It began to just pour rain and we eventually left early, having gotten our Kauffman Stadium experience. Overall, even with the rain, a really great day in a beautiful park. The fountains are delightful and the video board is very nice.

So now, back to 2018, about a week ago:

It appears the Cubs really enjoy that stadium, too, and they should because it is lovely. This past weekend the Cardinals had the pleasure of playing baseball in it as well. Something tells me the players enjoyed their time there...

It was a pretty great weekend for the Cardinals.
