The Cardinals have seven walk-off hits. Let’s watch them all - A Hunt and Peck

Seems like a lot, but that is just me.

MLB: Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

2018 has been an interesting year for the men wearing the Birds on the Bat, at least for home games. So far this season, the Cardinals have a .600 win percentage at home, winning eighteen games and losing twelve. Seven of those eighteen wins have come via walkoff. I am not entirely sure what that means for the team, if anything at all. In order to have a walkoff win, the home team must be either losing to or tied with the away team in the bottom of the ninth or later. Ideally, the preferred way to win is outright. On the other hand, walkoff wins are fun and there is something to be said about being able to battle back when the game is on the line.

Or maybe it is just plain-ole sequencing.

And here are the hits:

Five of these hits were home runs, so be sure to keep an eye out for all the walkoff home run celebration components that we discussed on Friday.
