With Luke Gregerson on the disabled list to start the season, the Cardinals may have pushed to a deal that might not have sought out otherwise. Per Jon Heyman:
breaking: #STLCards are moving close to a deal with closer greg holland. would fuill their one hole. no details known yet.

As of yesterday the reports were the Mets were interested in Greg Holland. Now a deal with the Cardinals seems imminent.
Greg Holland will have a physical tonight to finish deal with #stlcards. If he passes they have an agreement on short-term deal, however figuring where he goes to be ready, to get in innings is not yet clear. He has been throwing.

*No details have been released as of yet, but it is difficult to believe Holland will be an inexpensive addition. Frankly, the news comes as a shock as this is just not the type of move the Cardinals seem to make.
I guess we will just have to wait it out, folks.
UPDATE: HERE ARE THE DETAILS SO FAR
holland and STLCards have a deal now. $14M.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
Greg Holland rejected a qualifying offer from Colorado, meaning the Cardinals must sacrifice the No.59 pick in next years draft, plus $500,000 in international bonus pool money, to sign him. Plus whatever player cost comes in a corresponding roster move. #STLCards
