Matt Carpenter ranked ninth best first baseman - A Hunt and Peck

MLB Network has once again ranked all the first baseman in the league. This year Cardinals first baseman Matt Carpenter has been ranked ninth by MLB Network's Shredder. According to the video, Carpenter is top five in the league in walks and launch angle, which an OPS+ above league average the last five years.

The NL Central is very well-represented in the list, which Cubs Anthony Rizzo and Reds Joey Votto falling at fourth and first on the list, respectively. Check out the video for some Matt Carpenter highlights!
