We have been discussing Paul Goldschmidt as a trade target for some time now. On Wednesday, a deal was done sending the six-time All Star to St. Louis and Luke Weaver, Carson Kelly, and Andy Young to Arizona. It is a great trade and one that certainly makes the Cardinals better in 2019 without sacrificing a lot for the years beyond. It is certainly good news and a lot of people are excited.
