The MLB All Stars took on the Yomiuri Giants on Thursday morning, defeating the home team 9-6. Cardinals Yadier Molina and John Brebbia participated in the game.

Molina started the game as the DH. He drove in the All Stars’ third run of the game with an RBI double in the third. He would score soon after on a what looked to be a routine out off the bat of Juan Soto. The stadium ceiling had other plans, however. The odd play allowed Molina to score the All Stars’ fourth run of the night. Molina finished the game 2-2.

Brebbia came in to pitch the eighth inning. He allowed one unearned run on two hits and his own throwing error on a pickoff attempt. He struck out a batter without walking anyone.

The series continues Friday morning at 3:30 am central time and is available on MLB Network.
