What should we call John Brebbia’s new facial hair? - A Hunt and Peck

It has me stumped.

We have discussed Yadier Molina’s appearances in the Japan Series, but Cardinals reliever John Brebbia is there as well. You know, this guy:

In Japan he has been experimenting with different types of facial hair. He recently debuted this look:

This photo raises the a very important question: What is this and why? It is unlike any facial hair I have ever seen. The closest I found to matching it is a Fu Manchu, but it is missing the mustache. And more importantly, what was the inspiration? I need answers.

We must name this. Chin horns? Brebbia spikes? I need help with this, folks.
