The 2011 World Series was a blast.

Ah, 2011 - a great year for fans of the St. Louis Cardinals, or at least, a great ending to what was nearly a disappointing year, really. The Cardinals won the World Series after their playoff hopes appeared to be dashed. It was a thrilling race to the end of the season. The World Series did the season justice by being equally thrilling. We all know of the madness that was Game 6, but before David Freese’s heroics, Albert Pujols showed the world that he was the best hitter of his generation.
