This offseason has been dull, but we have Carlos Martínez.

Not much has happened this offseason. We have discussed rumors, rumors of rumors, inklings, rumblings, scuttlebutt, ideas, wishes, needs, and even a few hankerings. We have discussed the Hall of Fame candidates, free agents, trade possibilities, bobbleheads, and Bob Gibson.

So today, let’s just recall a time when Carlos Martínez was magnificent, going the distance for the first time in his career.

Because while this offseason has been boring, Carlos is everything but. Enjoy.
