Following the 2011 season Albert Pujols signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. While in St. Louis Pujols established the Pujols Family Foundation. Read all about his foundation and its mission here. Since his move, Albert Pujols has not been able to host his annual golf tournament. In his place, Matt Holliday had taken over as host and now that Holliday is in New York, a new host was needed.
So Carlos Martínez stepped up. He signed the big check.
This year @Tsunamy27 hosted the @pujolsfound golf tournament in STL. Thanks to all who support our mission and helped make this possible. pic.twitter.com/JJCwCxAmS5
