John Tudor wanted to be a hockey player - A Hunt and Peck

Luckily for the Cardinals, he was not.

John Tudor

For a little over four seasons John Tudor was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. During that time he accumulated 13.1 fWAR, 6.4 of that coming in 1985. That year Tudor sported a 1.93 ERA with a 2.71 FIP in 275 innings pitched. A pretty good year, it was.

But what if that never happened?

According to Tudor in an interview with Goal Magazine from 1988, if he had the skills, he would have played hockey.
