Former Cardinal Carlos Beltran lays outfield glove to rest - A Hunt and Peck

A moment of silence

Carlos Beltran played two seasons in rightfield with the Cardinals, good for 5.4 fWAR. After the final season with Cardinals in 2013, Beltran signed with the Yankees and has been in the American League ever since. Now with the Astros, Beltran has played almost exclusively DH. Due to his lack of outfield playing time, the Astros decided to lay Beltran's outfield glove to rest.

No seriously, there was a "service".

May the glove rest in peace.
