By now, most of us are aware of Carlos Martínez’s extraordinary charitable efforts through his foundation Tsunami Waves. If this is your first time hearing about it, I encourage you to check out the site and the mission statement here. Through his and many others’ hard work, the foundation has grown, participating in glove drives, bowling fundraisers, school visits, among many other things. Personally, it is one of my favorite things a player has done. Many players give back in many ways, but none really compare to the amount of effort Carlos seems to personally contribute. Not only does he give his all on the field, but he gives his all off it, too.
And now he has found a way to do both simultaneously:
This season, I'm taking the mound to earn your support. Please go to https://t.co/p0613wW2OV to check it out and consider making a pledge.
