#tbt: Ray Lankford hits Opening Night Home Run - A Hunt and Peck

We are so close.

Ray Lankford

Opening Night is only three days away. Yes, in three short days real, actual baseball will begin.

Today is Thursday, which normally means Tsunamy Thursday, but today, let’s change it up a bit. We are throwin’ back to 1994, when Ray Lankford - one of my (and the incomparable Daniel Moore’s) favorite Cardinals (and my go-to guess as the answer for obscure Cardinals trivia) - hit a leadoff home run against the Cincinnati Reds. Enjoy.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Dexter Fowler do the same thing Sunday night.
