Carlos Martinez participates in National Anthem standoff - A Hunt and Peck

On the last game of the 2017 MLB regular season Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez competed against Orlando Arcia of the Brewers in what has become a tradition in baseball over the past few years: A National Anthem Standoff. This standoff was fierce, lasting until the umpire yelled at the players to leave the field. Unfortunately, video of the standoff is difficult to find, but the photos show that Carlos was well prepared:

Ultimately Arcia claimed victory, but there is always next year!
