The longest Cardinals home runs of the year - A Hunt and Peck

Happy Festivus!

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Today is a day known as Festivus, a term added to the lexicon of many thanks to the popular Seinfeld episode called "The Strike". The episode is quite funny and since airing has become a favorite of Seinfeld fans and non-fans alike. So in the spirit of Festivus, we shall now look at the feats of strength by watching the Cardinals sock a few dingers.

3. September 20, 2016: Jedd Gyorko off Jorge de la Rosa at Coors Field, 450 feet

2. June 30, 2016: Brandon Moss off Chris Young at Busch Stadium, 452 feet

1. May 30, 2016: Matt Holliday off Jhan Marinez at Miller Park, 456 feet

I’m going to miss Matt Holliday.

And just for fun, here is the longest home run of the year by anyone, which, of course, was Giancarlo Stanton, for 495 feet at Coors Field of Chad Bettis

That was crushed.
