Goodbye Jon Jay - A Hunt and Peck

On Tuesday morning news broke that the Cardinals had traded outfielder Jon Jay, 2011 World Series champion, final Memphis Mafia member, and all around good guy, to the Padres for infielder Jedd Gyorko. Jay addressed the Cardinals fans in a Facebook post on Monday evening:

Jay also retweeted a bunch of posts to him from fans and they are heart-breaking. This business is brutal sometimes.
