Red Schoendienst has passed away at the age of 95

From the tweet embedded above, Mike Shannon and John Rooney announced the passing of longtime and beloved Cardinal Red Schoendienst at the age of 95. Red missed Opening Day festivities for the first time in many years this year and it was revealed he was in poor health later on. Red had spent over seventy years in a Cardinal uniform as a player, manager, coach, and instructor. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, Red.
