The Cardinals had encountered an abundance of good fortune in regard to the health of the starting rotation. It appears that good luck might be running out as Michael Wacha has been placed on the fifteen day disabled list with shoulder inflammation and catcher Brayan Peña will be placed on the sixty-day disabled list, clearing spots on the twenty-five and forty-man rosters, respectively, for Cardinals top prospect Alex Reyes to make his probable debut.
