In game two of the best three State College pounds Jamestown (Short-season affiliate of the Pirates) to force a pivotal game number three as they were all over Jamestown on Saturday night.
- Cesar Ramos was 3-4 with an RBI double and walk.
- Luke Voit with his Mike O'Neil impersonation by walking four times. Voit also hit an RBI single his only hit off the contest.
- Carson Kelly was 2-5 with a home run, double, and three RBI total on the night.
- Michael Schulze was big for the State College offense as he went 4-5 with two RBI.
- Mason Katz hit two singles that both went for RBI singles.
- Jimmy Bosco and Luis Perez had RBI singles.
- Jimmy Reed pitched three innings he gave up two earned on five hits, walked two and struck out five.
- Chase Brookshire pitched 3 1/3 innings as he held Jamestown to one earned two runs (one earned) on five hits with four strikeouts.
- Victor De Leon walked three with two strikeouts in a scoreless frame.
- Jacob Booden fanned four in 1 1/2 scoreless.
Short note: State College forced a game three in this playoff series. Game three will held at State College on Sunday with a 7:05 EST. Big Mississippi right-hander Andrew Pierce is on the mound for the Spikes.
