Daily Farm Report 9/6/13

State College the only Cardinal affiliate to reach the '13 minor league playoffs dropped the game of a best of three playoff series on Friday night. Game two on Saturday and Game three on Sunday (if necessary) will be at State College. NYPL finals begin on Tuesday.

State College 5, Jamestown 6

• Steven Ramos was 2-5 with a double.
• Luke Voit has been swinging a hit bat went 2-4.
• Carson Kelly hit an RBI single his lone hit on the night.
• Mason Katz was 2-4 with three RBI.
• Jimmy Bosco had an RBI single as well wi Kelly.
• Nick Petree with not a Petree like outing as he gave up six earned on nine hits with a walk and strikeout in three innings.
• Kevin Herget struck out three in three scoreless innings of work. Herget also gave up two hits.
• Jhonny Polanco walked two, struck out two, in two scoreless innings of work.
