A daily recap of the minor league players in the Cardinals' farm system.

Palm Beach 4, St. Lucie 8

  • Jacob Wilson was 2-for-3 with a pair of walks.
  • Patrick Wisdom was 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of walks.
  • Hector Hernandez was lit up for 8 runs on 8 hits in 5.1 innings. He struck out 5 and walked 5 but also allowed 2 home runs.
  • Robert Stock allowed a hit and struck out 1 in an inning of work.

Peoria 1, Clinton 7

  • Peoria had 3 walks and 6 singles in the game.
  • Ben O'Shea allowed 6 runs on 11 hits in 4 innings of work. He struck out 2 and walked 1.
  • Peoria threw four one-inning relievers at Clinton to close out the game. Joseph Scanio fared the best with a perfect inning that included 2 strikeouts.

Johnson City 7, Greeneville 5

  • Bryan Vaughn, CF, was 2-for-5.
  • Justin Ringo, 1B, was 3-for-4 with a double and a home run.
  • Steve Bean, C, was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks.
  • Blake McKnight allowed 5 runs on 6 hits in 4.2 innings of work. He struck out 5 and walked 4.
  • Kyle Grana and Zach Loraine both allowed 1 hit and struck out 1 in 1.1 innings and 1 inning respectively.

Johnson City 4, Greeneville 8 (7 innings)

  • Jhohan Acevedo, Leandro Mateo and Justin Ringo all went 2-for-4.
  • Ronnierd Garcia was 2-for-3.
  • Johnson City managed 10 hits but they were all singles and not a single batter drew a walk.
  • Luis Perdomo was lit up in 3.2 innings of work. He allowed 7 runs on 9 hits. He walked 2 and struck out 2.
  • Brandon Lee finished off the remaining 3.1 innings of the game. He allowed an unearned run on 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 2.
