  • Colin Walsh was 3-for-5.
  • David Popkins was 2-for-5.
  • Jonathan Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with a pair of walks.
  • Adam Lewis was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles. Lewis, a catcher, was appearing in just his second FSL game after being called up from State College.
  • Matt Williams was 3-for-4.
  • Kyle Hald walked just 1 in 7 innings. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits while striking out 2. Hald recorded 10 of 13 outs in play on the ground.
  • Danny Miranda finished off the game with 2 walks in 2 scoreless innings.

Peoria 8, Beloit 0

  • C.J. McElroy was 2-for-5 with a double.
  • Jordan Walton was 3-for-5 with a double.
  • Jacob Wilson was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks.
  • Patrick Wisdom was 2-for-3 with a walk.
  • Cory Jones scattered 2 hits and 3 walks across 6 scoreless innings. He struck out 5.
  • Sam Tuivailala struck out the side in a perfect inning of work.
  • Zach Russell struck out the side in the 9th allowing 1 walk.

State College 4, Mahoning Valley 3

  • Cesar Valera, SS, was 2-for-4 with a double.
  • David Washington, 1B, was 1-for-4 with his 3rd home run.
  • Alex De Leon, C, was 3-for-4.
  • Ben O'Shea scattered 7 hits and 1 walk across 7 innings. He struck out 3 and was responsible for all 3 Mahoning Valley runs.
  • Kyle Webb struck out 1 in a scoreless 9th allowing 2 hits.
