USA TODAY Sports

The players performances may not show it but in the W-L column a very good overall night in the system as they went 5-1 W-L overall. Kolten Wong did yard work for the sixth time for Memphis this season. Tyrell Jenkins was removed from the Palm Beach game after only throwing two pitches. Reports are cautiously saying he left with an apparent "elbow problem".

Memphis 7, Nashville 2

Springfield 8, San Antonio 1

The only farm club to lose on the night they lost a heart breaker in the 13th inning.

Starlin Rodriguez collected 3 hits which included a clutch RBI to tie the game in the 9th.

Danny Stienstra had a 3-hit game. Stienstra may not be a plausible prospect with the age issues playing at Florida State League but he's supplied a good bat when in the lineup he's achieved a solid .292 batting average playing in the FSL the league that kills offense. He will most likely wind up in some organizational role but players with good bats that can fill empty holes at each level can always be dependable to organizations and for each farm club. Just ask Chris Swauger whose had a career off it.
