New Future Redbird: Juan Herrera

The Cardinals just traded Marc Rzepczynski to Cleveland for infielder Juan Herrera and since Juan is going to be a new Future Redbird, let's take a quick look at him.

Juan Herrera is a 5'11'' right-handed hitting infielder, who is a high-contact, high onbase infielder. He has almost no power and his OPS is held up directly by his very strong OBP. He's 20 years old and already playing in the NY-Penn League and has already played the State College Spikes, the Cardinals affiliate in that league in 8 games. He's a decent player, he's not going to make any top 20 lists, but with a strong on-base skills, he's already got one good skill.
