The system went 1-and-4 on the night. Michael Wacha toed the rubber for Memphis. Old habits were on display in Seth Blair's start for Springfield. Anthony Garcia and a strong bullpen performance carried Palm Beach to a win. Peoria became the victim of a shutout, and so they lost despite a strong outing by Kyle Helisek. State College had trouble making contact. Johnson City was postponed.
- Ryan Jackson was 4-for-5 leading off.
- Brock Peterson hit his PCL-leading 21st HR and walked twice.

- Jorge Rondon then allowed 2 more runs (1 earned) in his 2 innings; he struck out 1 and walked 1.
- Maikel Cleto threw 3 innings in relief for Omaha. Against his former team, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. He was bad enough to blow the save but good enough to hold on for a win.
- Mike O'Neill doubled and stole his 12th base. He also struck out once.
- Xavier Scruggs hit a HR (22) and walked twice, living up to his TTO reputation.

- Hector Hernandez walked more batters (4) than he struck out (3) but was still credited with a win for only permitting 2 runs in 5 innings. Both of the runs he allowed came on solo homers.
- Travis Miller, Dean Kiekhefer, and Ronnie Shaban combined for 4 scoreless innings that were nearly perfect with the exception of a hit allowed by Shaban.
- The only offense Peoria could muster was 2 singles (C.J. McElroy and Ildemaro Vargas) and 3 walks (C.J. McElroy, Patrick Wisdom, and Ildemaro Vargas).
- In addition to his single and walk, McElroy also stole a base (3) and threw someone out at second.
