Daily Farm Report - 6/14/13

A daily recap of the minor league players in the Cardinals' farm system.

Palm Beach begins there All Star Break and don't resume play until Monday. So the system went 2-1 W-L overall. Mike O'Neill continues his rampage at getting on base. Patrick Wisdom went deep and is starting to turn it on of late after Kelly was demoted to EST.

Memphis 2, Albuquerque 7

Kolten Wong singled in four at bats.

Oscar Taveras was hitless but walked.

Brock Peterson hit a 2-run homer his 13th on the season.

Scott McGregor gave up 8 hits on 5 earned runs while walking 4 in 3 1/3 innings.

Eric Fornataro gave up 2 earned runs (1 HR) in 1 2/3 innings pitched

Michael Blazek allowed 3 hits and struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings.

Springfield 8, Northwest Arkansas 4

Springfield rallied for 6 runs in the 8th and 9th innings to secure a solid victory.

Mike O'Neill continues that rampage of getting on base he was 3-3 with 4 runs scored and 2 walks. O'Neill in 229 at bats has walked 46 times and only struck out 17 times.

James Ramsey was 1-3 with an RBI (Sac Fly).

Ruben Gotay had a huge offensive night he was 2-4 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI's.

Cody Stanley hit a 2-run RBI double.

Seth Blair had another solid outing he pitched 6 innings gave up 10 hits on 2 earned he didn't walk a batter and struck out 6.

Palm Beach is off

Peoria 6, Clinton 2

Peoria put up a four spot in the 10th to secure a victory.

Breyvic Valera was 2-6 continuing to hit. That's all he does.

Ildemaro Vargas was 2-5 pushing his average up to a .291 mark.

Patrick Wisdom was 3-5 with a solo shot his 10th of the season.

Nick Martini was 3-5 with an RBI single.

In his first full-season at bat Luis Perez hit a 3-run homer in a pinch-hit appearance.

Joe Cuda pitched 6 shutout innings he walked 1 and struck out 4.

Dixon Llorens gave up 2 earned runs in a 2 innings he struck out 2.

Joseph Scanio pitched 2 scoreless in relief he earned the win.
