A daily recap of the minor league players in the Cardinals farm system.

Memphis 0, New Orleans 7

  • Brock Peterson was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. He was the only Memphis player to reach base twice.
  • Mitchell Boggs started the game and promptly got lit up for 4 runs in the first inning. He'd allow 2 more in the second though of the 6 total runs, only 3 were earned. Boggs allowed 5 hits and walked 2 while striking out 2.
  • Nick Additon followed with 4 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 1 walk. He struck out 6.

Springfield 1, NW Arkansas 8 (7 innings)

  • Mike O'Neill was 1-for-2 with a walk.

  • Zach Petrick was the bright spot pitching 2 perfect innings that included 3 strikeouts. Petrick has yet to allow an earned run over 10 innings in Palm Beach. Between Peoria and Palm Beach this year, he's struck out 57 in 42.2 innings.

Peoria 4, Clinton 0

  • Robert Stock struck out 2 and allowed 2 hits in the 9th.
