The system went 3-and-1 on the night with Peoria being the only losing club. Memphis cranked out 7 doubles to back another positive Carlos Martinez start. In Springfield, James Ramsey hit his 3rd HR since being promoted while Mike O'Neill hit the 3rd HR of his minor league career. Stephen Piscotty showed some signs of life in Palm Beach. And Peoria suffered a bullpen implosion.

- Eric Fornataro struck out 2 in the 7th inning but also gave up a solo home run.
- Sam Freeman allowed 2 hits in 2 innings but struck out 4.
- Mike O'Neill hit his third home run in 1100+ at-bats as a professional baseball player. Nevertheless, his minor league career OPS is above .850, which is pretty incredible.
- James Ramsey hit his third home run for Springfield.
- Jake Lemmerman was 2-for-4 with a double and walk.
- Cody Stanley and Chris Swauger were both 3-for-5 with a double.
- Xavier Scruggs was 1-for-3 with 2 walks and a stolen base (4).
- Luis Mateo and Ruben Gotay each contributed 2 hits.
- Anthony Ferrara went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts.

- The bullpen then started coughing up runs as Heath Wyatt, Lee Stoppelman, and Jose Almarante were all reached for 1 apiece. Heath Wyatt struck out 2 batters in his inning of work. Stoppelman allowed an inherited runner to score.

- Dixon Llorens gave up the winning run on 2 hits and a walk in the 9th inning; he only retired 1 batter.
