The system went 3-and-1 tonight. Memphis won its game behind three home runs. Springfield was rained out. Palm Beach couldn't get any offense going. Peoria won both games of a double-header behind two great starts from Cory Jones and Tyrell Jenkins.
- Kolten Wong was 2-for-3 with another walk. As I mentioned in the piece on Monday, it's great to see Kolten taking some walks lately.
- Adron Chambers (2), Jamie Romak (9), and Justin Christian (3) all homered.
- Chris Swauger was 2-for-4.
- Rob Johnson walked twice.
- Maikel Cleto only allowed 1 unearned run in 6.1 innings. He struck out 7 in but allowed 3 hits and 5 walks. He's going to have to find the strike zone more often for his career to gain any traction.
- Kevin Siegrist struck out 4 against 1 hit and 1 walk in 1.2 innings.
- Marc Rzepczynski pitched a clean 9th inning.
Springfield, Frisco (Postponed: Rain)
- Jonathan Rodriguez doubled and walked.
- Colin Walsh doubled.
- Danny Stienstra walked twice.
- Matt Williams singled and walked.
- Stephen Piscotty singled.
- Kurt Heyer pitched well and had a strong 7-2 groundout-flyout ratio. In 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts.
- Jose Almarante struck out 3 in 2 perfect innings.
- Travis Miller allowed 1 run on 3 hits in his inning.
Peoria 6, Burlington 2 (Game One - 7 innings)
- Breyvic Valera was 3-for-4 batting leadoff.

- Adam Ehrlich singled.
- Michael Swinson walked.
- Cory Jones had an electric full-season debut by striking out 7 and only allowing 1 hit in 5 innings.
- Samuel Tuivailala allowed 1 run on 2 hits and 1 walk; 1 of the 2 outs he recorded was a strikeout.
