A daily recap of the minor league players in the Cardinals' farm system.

  • Kolten Wong was 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk. That is only his second home run of the season.
  • Ryan Jackson was 2-for-4 with a double.
  • Brock Peterson was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk.
  • Oscar Taveras was not in the lineup.
  • A superb outing for Michael Wacha who struck out 8 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits (1 home run) and a walk. Wacha needed just 88 pitches to get through his outing.
  • Mitchell Boggs was lit up for 3 runs while retiring just 1 batter. He walked 3 and allowed 2 hits.

Springfield 1, Tulsa 2 (15 innings)

  • Springfield had three errors from the game including two from Starlin Rodriguez and Jake Lemmerman's 10th error of the season.
  • Scott McGregor fared well striking out 8 over 7 innings. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1. There's little about McGregor's history that suggest he projects to the majors and his stuff was mediocre but he's off to a hot start this season. In 48 innings, he has 48 punchouts and just 11 walks.
  • Micahel Blazek struck out 4 in 2 perfect innings.
  • Kevin Siegrist walked 2 and struck out 4 in 3 frames.
  • Nick Greenwood was the goat allowing a Tulsa score in the 15th inning. He struck out 1 but allowed a run on 3 hits and a walk in 0.2 innings pitched.

Palm Beach 4, Lakeland 2

Peoria 0, Kane County 5 (Game 1: 7 innings)

  • Patrick Wisdom's hit and Jacob Wilson's 2 walks were the only offense Peoria could muster.
