A couple of come from behind wins in late innings by Palm Beach and Peoria. The system goes 2-1 on the night. Patrick Wisdom hit his Cardinal minor league leading 6th home run. Richard Castillo pitched a quality start but earned the loss as he was out-pitched by the Travelers starter.
Memphis game was postponed due to rain. They like Springfield will host a double-header on Sunday.
*Springfield's offense only produced 3 runs but had plenty of opportunities to score but never could capitalize with RISP as they went 2-for-11 and stranded 12 runners aboard. They were in the game until the 8th inning when there bullpen imploded.

*Stephen Piscotty continues to tear up FSL pitching as he went 2-5. Piscotty is leading the FSL in hitting at .393 that's by a fair margin. You would have to think if he continues to hit like this he's due for a promotion to Springfield.

*David Popkins was 3-4 with 2 RBI's and a walk also swiped his 1st bag.
*Adam Ehrlich was 1-4 with an RBI.
*Soft tossing southpaw Kyle Hald went 5 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits 6 runs 5 of them earned walked 2 struck out 2.
*Heath Wyatt pitched 2 1/3 effective innings struck out 4 batters in that span.
