Good morning, everyone!
Today starts the last full week of no regular season baseball, and a week from today is the Grapefruit League finale. That should definitely make your Monday feel a little better.
The Cardinals were off yesterday, but picked up a win on Saturday. John Gant pitched five innings of one-run ball and whiffed five along the way. Dylan Carlson launched a two-run homer, his first of the spring, way out of Roger Dean after showing bunt earlier in the at-bat.

Carlos Martinez was charged with five runs in his outing on Friday afternoon against the Mets, and new New Yorker Francisco Lindor delivered the big blow of the day: a grand slam in the fourth inning.
The Cardinals are back in action this afternoon against the Marlins. Jack Flaherty and Sandy Alcantara will start today, as they will do for their clubs on Opening Day. First pitch from Jupiter is set for 12:05 PM Central time.
