MLB: St. Louis Cardinals at New York Mets Mary Holt-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning! Happy Wednesday to all.

Though the Cardinals fell to the Mets yesterday, there were several positive takeaways from Tuesday’s game. Justin Williams started in right field and hit his first home run of the spring. Carlos Martinez threw three scoreless innings, and Alex Reyes struck out the side in the fourth.

In less uplifting news, Miles Mikolas will not be available when the team breaks camp and heads north to start the regular season in three weeks..

For a Spring Training game, this afternoon’s matchup is a pretty good one. Jack Flaherty and Max Scherzer will start the game at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches around 12:05 PM.

Have a good day!
