Toying with some lineups and several guys are going to have to take a step forward for the lineup to be elite. Except for the new guy (and he was stymied by injury last year), and Carlson's trend, all are guys kinds stunk last year. As it stands, the absence of Fowler already makes it look better, as does Carpenter on the bench. I'm dreaming on the last line-up where Edman and O'Neil comes through as early 2000s era no. 1 and 2. And it would be really nice if one of our 4th OF candidates surprised and relegated Bader to defensive replacement bench role.
